On July 24, Saturday, the Hawaii Nature Center has its monthly community workday. The Nature Center is up in Makiki and if you like the outdoors, this is the place to be. There’s trees, grass, shrubs, trails, streams, vine eradication and other things that need attention. It’s a beautiful setting and if you have the energy. There are several beautiful trails in the area to go hiking also.
